Senegalese-American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and actor AKON has arrived in the country for a business visit. The Grammy award winning singer, and KONVICT boss, Akon was welcomed by Uganda’s only BET award winner, Eddy Kenzo.
During his stay in #Uganda🇺🇬, international music star, Akon is expected to meet with President Yoweri Museveni to discuss investment opportunities, and he will also visit tourist sites and religious institutions.
Akon’s visit is a follow up on a business trip by his wife Rozina Negusei that took place early last month.
His visit is coordinated by the office of the Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs headed by Amb. Abbey Walusimbi which has confirmed the developments.
