Cranes Defender Savio Kabugo signs for URA F.C

Kabugo Savio who has been on the side lines for almost eight months following shin trouble and the deadly motor accident suffered on June 2nd 2015 during KCCA F.C’s journey to Kyamate in Ntungamo for the Uganda Cup final against Sports Club Villa.

He last played a competitive league fixture on December 12th, 2014 when his former pay master, Sports Club Victoria University visited Bright Stars, a month before the Kawempe outfit trans-located to Mwerere in Matugga.

In April 2015, the burly player had a successful operation on both of his shins after suffering stress fractures during the Uganda Cranes failed AFCON 2015 campaign.Kabugo joins Richard Kasagga Jjuuko, Bob Kasozi and a host of other defenders at the back line of the tax collector’s side.

He sounded happy upon signing, taking to his delight to the social media on his personal face book page;

“What a year 2015 has bin” started in tears disappointments, setbacks, sicknesses but in the months were the holly spirit was born. The king is remembered and we got where to settle. Thank you Lord. Thank u Lord and  i feel blessed and loved. Nothing is bad as long as the lord is with you”
