Mr. Kananura commonly known as Desh Kananura who is charged with the murder of the late Badru Kateregga, his then employee at Panamera Bar in Naguru was released on Bail jointly with his brother Raymond Kananura,Cyrus Maganda and Jacob Onyango after the murder. Justice is yet to be delivered where the business man Andrew Kananura killed his employeee.
The deputy Registrar pf the High Court yesterday suspended the hearing of the case that had been scheduled for the May Criminal session to allow judges dispose of the February 18 election petitions.
Prosecution states that on September 31 2012 at Desh’ Panamera Bar, the accused persons beat and killed Kateregga, a bar attendant over 30,000 the deceased had received as a tip from a customer. On January 19th 2013,Mr. Desh Kananura was arrested at Entebbe airport upon return from UK after he had fled upon learning that Kateregga had died.
The judge hasn’t disclosed when the hearing of the case would resume. Kateregga’s family even upto now cries out for justice to prevail, 3 years down the road nothing has taken place even after over 40 witnesses came forward to pin Desh Kananura.
