While many Ugandans were busy getting ready for the Uganda Cranes Vs Togo football match last weekend, the comedy star Anne Kansiime on the other hand was making headlines in Zimbabwe.
In a show dubbed “Kansiime in Zimbabwe” ,Anne had a full house and killed it with her most hilarious jokes. Words to describe her eneegetic perfomances are yet to be written cause her talent is always amazing and over whelming for the audience. The show was such a success that the sponsors and organisers decided to throw a second show for another day of ‘Kansiime in Zimbabwe’ since she is the first comedian to ever sell out in this country.
The Mpalo Kitanga Kabaale born Anne is apparently the biggest export Uganda has ever had and indeed she’s a reason to believe. Recently she was also acknowledged by Hollywood star Lupita Nyongo that she is a reason for African comedy to rise again and with a positive attitude with no doubt anyone can make it.
Meanwhile, on 5th December she will be in South Africa in yet another comedy show.
