Kim Kardashian‘s latest app Kimojis is at the center of privacy concerns, even as it proves so popular that it broke the app store shortly after its release on Monday.

The program can collect anything a user types or has typed in the past including credit card details – leading to fears that users’ confidential information is at risk.

Before users download the app they are warned; ‘Full access allows the developer of this keyboard to transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard.

‘This could include sensitive information like your credit card number or street address.’

This has not seemed to put off fans of Kardashian however as the reality stay launched the app to overwhelming demand despite the fact that it is not free and costs $1.99 in the app store.

So overwhelming in fact that Apple’s App Store crashed and the Kimoji app itself was facing issues that made it impossible to put into use for buyers.

The 35-year-old reality star celebrated the app’s release by sharing ‘sister convos’ between her, Khloe, and Kourtney using Kimojis early in the day.

Then she commented on the app’s wild success by tweeting: ‘Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!!!’

The mother-of-two followed that up with more of an explanation, posting: ‘I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!’

However, her celebrations seemed to subside a bit as she likely began to notice all of the comments on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

One Instagram commenter appeared very frustrated as they posted: ‘It’s not WORKING!!!!!! The icons aren’t appearing on the keyboard.’
