What you didn’t know about Dj Shiru

Together with DJ Rota, DJ Shiru was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play music for international artists in Uganda. He is one of the most popular Ugandan Djs of the 21st century in the East Africa and the Uk and enjoys strong popularity in the African Communities.

Career

He went to become one of the top DJs in Uganda with his debut big event being at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards in 2006. He later went on to host a number of international artists in Uganda as the host DJ to artists like R. Kelly, Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, UB40, Demarco, Konshens, Elephant man, Beenie man, Busy signal, Kevin Little, Akon, Wyclef Jean, Chaka Chaka, Chico Chimola, Davido, Sisqo, P square, Fuse Odg and has played for most in house Artists.

DJ Shiru has also produced collabos with local musicians like Mozey and Radio, Bebe Cool, Dr Jose Chameleon, Irene Ntale among others under the Shirumatic Pro
