Richard Kasendwa commonly known as Ziza Bafana Taata Jontana CEO Magic Town Empire is a celebrated Ragga/Reggea/Dancehall artist from Uganda. He has over the years established Himself as a top Musician in Uganda and one of the best Dancehall Musicians in East Africa.Being raised by God fearing family,Ziza joined the church choir at Early Age.This is where he got experience in singing and also playing musical instruments like Jazz and keyboard.His love for music can now explain why at Bulenga primary school Richard kasendwa joined Music Club as a drummer and by the time he sat for his Primary Leaving Examinations, he had been on a five-year bursary thanks to his wonderful drumming skills. later joined St Henry’s College Kitovu and St Stephen’s Kyebando, where he completed high school.
As time went on,Ziza Teamed with Yiya Moze as Back to Life Duo having witnessed Radio and Weasel Duo working out, they did songs like Togenda, Namagalo and Tebakulimba which were great songs in 2012 though later decided to go solo. Bafana then released Jayo ntekeyoo a song that became a threat to Dancehall artists like Dj Michael,Peter Miles,Lt Ak47 (RIP).He released other songs including Stareo, My Ladies, Wansobera, Ebiwundu, Emitego Gya Walumbe, Zip Yo, Towakana, Bantu Baffe featuring King Saha.
The ‘Agende’ singer is also a proud father to one Jontana and a darling to a sexy lady Irene,Bafana has been scooping Awards in Hipipo,Rising star Awards,and the recently concluded Zzina AWards . His songs like Guluma Nasonye,Agende,Batufitina,Sagala Ntalo have had a missive air play.
