Last week during the Presidential swearing in, the Police and army inavded singer Bobi Wine’s Kamwokya based ‘Fire Studios’ and made numerous arrests of his upcoming artistes. However, during the course of the weekend, they released the artistes as Bobi Wine was quoted below;
“Finally our artists have been released from jail since Thursday morning. We have done post-detention counselling and they are now already in a good mood heading to One Love Beach Busabala for the Carnival. We are musicians not politicians…We are citizens not criminals!”
Bobi Wine further added on, “We are bad man, we dont fear Intimidation. Fire base Nalo”, We dont know who that statement was directed to. The ‘Ndi MunaUganda’ singer is also a close friend to former FDC Presidential Candidate Kizza Besigye who lost in the recently held February elections.
