The atmosphere of Mukono Hospital and Goma Health III Center was yesterday filled with euphoria after a donation of hospital mattresses from Eurofoam.
As part of their 19 years anniversary celebration in Uganda, Eurofoam decided to give back to the community and also lay a brick to the fight against Covid19. Mukono hospital and Goma Health Centre III were selected for the donation because they are located in the Mukono Municipal Council serving a big number of patients from the town council and neighboring areas.

Ensuring that you sleep well is thus embedded in all our products,’ said Claire Kemigisha the marketing manager ( who was contacted via phone call because Covid regulations couldn’t allow her attend physically)
Kemigisha emphasized the need to follow the Covid 19 guidelines of washing hands with soap, maintaining social distancing at all times to protect ourselves and families from the Covid 19 pandemic. “Public – Private partnerships have tremendous effects in delivering and bringing services closer to the community such as Health Services,” she elaborated.
While thanking Eurofoam for their generosity, the Principal Medical Officer Mukono Municipality, Dr. Kkonde Anthony promised to put the donations to good use. With a big number of patients attending Mukono General Hospital and Goma Health Centre III, these two facilities always get challenges with having adequate number mattresses. This shall help a lot, and we encourage others to emulate Eurofoam’.
