Signed under Subwami Empire, fast-rising music duo, Hatim and Dokey are not taking anything for granted in the ever-growing and competitive Ugandan music. Unlike some new artistes on the scene, the fresh new music duo has invested a lot in their music and one of their videos “Kakodyo Ko” and “Zavugiddewa” says it all.

The new duo in town – Hatim and Dokey. Born and raised in Uganda, Dokta Brain teamed up with Hatim, both talented songwriters, and vocalists who took an early interest in the arts. From writing chart-topping songs for other Ugandan artists to singing and even producing several unreleased contents the Ugandan duo knew their hard work would pay off someday.

Known in music as HD Music, they have signed to a Ugandan based Talent and Events Management powerhouse of Subwami Empire and are currently focusing on soon releasing more of their fantastic dancehall and Afropop music style. As soon as Dokta Brain realized he had a way with words, he teamed up with his counterpart, Hatim, and started to create a diverse style of music.

Over the years they have only evolved with each passing day and have gained a wide recognition of their finest musicality and the fascinating matches of sound. In the past months, they’ve written and recorded a dozen tracks soon to be released that include bangers on their album titled “Vibes and Themes”.

With Zuli Tumz behind the beats and mastering, Simon SPK shot, edited the ‘Zavugiddewa’ a Luganda slag for Where is the party at. The big-budget music video scenes are eye-catching for the youthful internet users who would dream to see a Rickross like video in Uganda.
