There were lots of color-themed parties in December. But only a few stood out. In this case, only two. The Zari All White Party, and the Boss Mutoto White and Gold Party. And when it comes to performances only the Boss Mutoto White and Gold Party that happened at Guvnor on Boxing Day stood out like the proverbial sore thumb. And we happened to attend it.
The party started a little early. By 7:00pm, the Red Carpet was teeming with hordes of socialites. Snap chatting and instagraming the magical moment. At around 10:00pm, Guvnor was full to the brim. But the performances started a few minutes shy of midnight.
Nina Roz started the performance with her song Mekete. Before taking the crowd through the rest of her songs. Then songstress Juliana Kanyomozi stepped onto stage. She entertained and wowed with her silky vocals, and made way for the biggest performance of the night, Christian Bella. Who also wowed, taking revellers through songs like Punguza Kidogo, Sugar Sugar, among others.
Fik Fameica was the last performer of the night, after which revelers partied till morning.
