AfriKane is one of the very few Ugandan musicians to have music online Officially on more than 50 music platforms…One could say that it is almost impossible for someone who just went solo to have his music career move this fast in just months. He got unveiled officially in October,got to perform at the Oslo world music festival as the first Ugandan just weeks later,he became a household name in a foreign country (Norway), rubbed shoulders at seminars with big artists like Kenya’s “Stella Mwangi”, got signed to LOVE RECORDS AND finally his has released his first single titled ‘I’m on my way’ which went online officially on the 29th December 2015 and just by the looks of things and the reviews it’s getting abroad and also here at home, we believe it is going to take him places come 2016.
 We spoke to him and he had this to say. “Am ecstatic..I don’t even know what to say anymore..God has been so good to me, I never thought my voice could be heard but now am already lined up for a couple of shows just by releasing one single..Am so happy that ‘I’m on my way’ is being received well by the crowds everywhere..people reaching out and appreciating is what we are in this business for. I thank my God..my people at LOVE RECORDS and my fans who mean the most to me. I can not even begin to describe to you what I have in store for you come 2016… Am working everyday so just sit back and wait..more is coming before you can even be able to digest ‘I’m on my way’.
