As it has been a trend in these presidential campaigns, we have seen many artistes make projects that come up with their favorite presidential aspirants’ songs and Blaze Music Entertainment Dancehall giant Nash Wayz follows suit. This is his first presidential campaign song as he shows who he sides with and its non other than Amama Mbabazi of Go Forwad/TDA Uganda
The song is called Go Forward(Tugenda Mumaso) which has all the sweetest showers of praise to Amama Mbabazi and it was done in almost proverbs alone. On listening to it it will remind you the Late Paul Kafero’s system of singing in proverbs as he delivered his message right. Now here, in a dance-hall genre, the strong beats surely must keep getting Mbabazi huge crowds on their feet as it will double as a message carrier and a dancing thing to go with.
Nash Wayz was contacted and he had this to say ”i did this song from my heart, i never did it out of greed but i hope my president will appreciate it” when asked about the video Nash affirmed that it is not yet out because he wanted Amama to first feel its love in the audio form.
We wish Nash the best as we look forward to start seeing him perform live on the rally campaigns.
