Bebe cool, Victoria Kimani, Mafikizolo among other acts will
battle at the African Entertainment Awards. Various Ugandan and Kenyan acts, Sauti Sol, Bebe cool and Nigerian based songstress Victoria Kimani are some of the local music acts who bagged
nominations at the inaugural African Entertainment Awards USA, an awards ceremony with the mission to enhance and unite Africans globally. Sauti Sol will battle it out with South Africa’s Mafikizolo, Nigeria’s P-Square, Togo’s Toofan in ‘Hottest Group’ category while Victoria Kimani is against Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee, Yemi Alade and South Africa’s Bucie in the ‘Best Female Artist Of The Year’ category. Other Kenyans who have been nominated are Oscar Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, actor Benjamin Ochieng’ who is known for his role in the movie God Is Not Dead.
