I have just received a press release from Big Talent Management concerning the death of one of the Ghetto kids (Alex) as quoted below from Brand Manager Kikomeko Joseph.
PRESS RELEASE.
“Ssempijja Alex, known as Alex Sitya Loss of the Triplets / Ghetto Kids dancers, tragically passed away on November 30th, 2015. Alex’s dancing was featured in Eddy Kenzo’s music videos: Undeke Numbe, Sitya Loss, Jambole, Zivuga and So Good. Alex, from Katwe, was only 14 years of age when he succumbed to a serious bicycle accident in Kampala. Fellow Sitya Loss dancer, 12-year-old Patricia, was also involved in the accident and sustained serious injuries. Eddy Kenzo received a call on Monday night and rushed to Rubaga Hospital only to find Alex gone and Patricia in bad condition. Eddy took Patricia to Case Clinic, where he stayed with her late into the night and she is slowly recovering. The Big Talent family has gathered with relatives of both young dancers in mourning and prayer.”
