With news rumors making rounds about Bobi Wine contesting for the Vacant MP seat in Kyadondo East Constituency after NRM’s Ssebalu William won a court petition against FDC’s Kantinti Apollo.
The self proclaimed Ghetto President who has all the basic requirements to contest for the seat as a Ugandan citizen with a Senior six script, revealed that he is a messenger who only obliges to the society’s calling.
“I cant confirm anything per now, well am not a politician, am a voice to the voiceless and above all the people’s messenger. Yes, if my people approach me to represent them, i will give it a thought before making my final decision. I want to unite the common person so its not about NRM, FDC or any other party, its about the society achieving a common goal”. the ‘Situka’ singer disclosed via a phone conversation.
With Bobi Wine’s brothers, chairman Nyanzi and Eddy Yawe in Politics, i think it wont take him a long time before he makes up his mind to contest for a political post.
