DJ Roja and Slick Stuart are the first DJ duo in the Uganda music indusrty as they play together at different events and night hangouts like Cayenne Bar and Lounge. They went on to hold their highly sold out ‘Mix Tape’ Party at Latfaz,something that earned them some good money.
“My elder brother was a DJ and when he bought an equipment in 2007, he started teaching me how to mix using the turn tables. The love and passion of being a deejay came in 2009” DJ Roja disclosed in an interview.
DJ Roja a.k.a Roger Kitaka also went ahead to reveal that his worst moment in his career was when Chameleone insulted him while was he was playing music in his Dj Booth. The 7 star Deejay went on to disclose that DJ Shiru,DJ Aluda and Capital FM’s Alex Ndawula are his source of inspiration in the Ugandan industry.
