All is not well for Legendary DJ Shiru Kiberu, as event organizers seem to be overlooking his prowess for new budding DJ’s like DJ Mark, DJ Slick Stuart, DJ Roger and many others. The latest we can point out is a DJ battle organized by Heineken beer, which will take place on Dec 13, at Diners lounge Bukoto.
Though a number of Ugandan DeeJays are lined up for the battle which will see winners walk away with lots of prizes and a deal to be Heineken’s official DJ, Shiru is not one of those.Moles have learnt that the organizers deliberately left out Shiru because he isn’t a crowd puller anymore.
Dj Shiru’s relevance has previously been a subject of discussion with many suggesting that he’s outdated, despite the fact that he has more awards and recognitions any Ugandan DJ has ever had.
