Finally, the state house of Uganda has come out to appreciate Uganda’s only BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo’s work and raising country’s on the global map.
The state house of Uganda posted on their Facebook page;
Congratulations to Edrisah Musuuza, aka ‪Eddy Kenzo on being selected to perform at one of the biggest global music, film and media events – the‪ South by SouthWest (SXSW) Festival 2016 – for the second consecutive year. And this year, the ‘Stamina’ hitmaker will perform in front of U.S. President Barack ‪Obama and his wife Michelle. Kenzo performs on Friday 18th March.
Eddy Kenzo has come a long way after losing his mother at the tender age of four and living on the streets for at least thirteen years. He has shown that determination and focus go a long way. He is a good example of the ‪Ugandan dream.
Congratulations Mr. Musuuza for putting ‪Uganda on the global map and for inspiring many young Ugandans.
