Last Sunday,the much anticipated event of the year went down at Lido Beach and as expected the 4th annual purple party attracted a big crowd.
 Arrival and attendance
Gates were open by 10am and by 1pm there was a fairly crowd,by exactly 5pm the venue was full to capacity as people were seen entering even at 7pm with their families and friends.
Organization and Security
Everything was on point as the Kandake team did make sure everything had to go on as planned as they employed security guards at the entrance and moved around to make sure everyone had to be where they are supposed to be (general and VIP section). security was tight as they had a last brief meeting at around 1pm and made sure the life of the crowd is well protected as some where seen patrolling every corner of the beach.
stage,lighting and performances
The stage was fine besides that was a moderate beach stage the fact that it never shook even when Coco finger climbed on top of it.The stage Lighting was on point as the purple color came out clearly as seen the pic above. Performances were just as usual though Bebe Cool,Chameleone and Pallaso killed it off.
Then Douglas’s mum….
Yeah it was emotional to Douglas as the the sister and mum stepped on stage to surprise him with an art piece. It was one of the few surprises with Apass’s birthday surprise cake among.
General over view
Over 100 artistes on one stage, this was amazing especially for such an event organized by Lwanga Douglas for his fans and Wajjid who was on ground making sure everything goes on as planned.Though the low moment came when Yung Mulo tried flexing with Dj Shiru.
