Upcoming singer and song writer, Lyto Boss and Irene Namubiru are in court over the “Anjagala” copy rights. Female diva Irene Namubiru claims to have paid Catherine Kusasira for this song something which Lyto Boss ( the song writer) denied.
Yesterday, alongside her Lawyer William Kyobe, Irene Namubiru appeared before Judge Christopher Madrama at the commercial court set for the hearing of their case against Lyto boss who had Arthur Ampire as his Lawyer.
Lyto Boss asked the court to oblige Irene Namubiru to pay him Shs 50million because the song earned her substantially yet she had not rightly paid for it.
The judge set 29th September, 2016 to begin hearing their case after Irene Namubiru pleaded innocent, claiming that she paid Golden Band singer, Catherine Kusasira who brought her the song and she has all the evidence to prove that she made the payments.
