Unemployment among the citizens of Uganda has led them to resort to several activities from sports betting to criminal activities like robbery. Comedian Salvador narrates a story how his fiance Daphine survived death when goons robbed her as quoted below;
“A local tabloid on Friday released a story about these goons who break your car and rob you at your gate. I traveled for a retreat that same day little did I know that it would happen in my area. Madam was attacked as she returned home and these goons robbed her and the friends right at our gate. Being far away there was nothing I would do except worry when I was called, fortunately they weren’t physically harmed. Please be cautious when returning home cause these guys are ruthless.Uganda Police Force this new wave of crime is making us feel unsafe even in our own homes”
