Uganda’s President Museveni also joined the many world leaders like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama to pay tribute to the fallen boxing legend Muhammed Ali.
On his official Facebook page, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was quoted;
“Muhammad Ali, the former world heavyweight boxing champion, visited me at State House Entebbe on November 29, 1988. He was in company of former Sudan President Abdulrahman Suwar Addahab. Ali, whose death I learnt of yesterday, epitomized many things in his life but his discipline, determination and defence of the marginalized, among other qualities stood out. He was a revolutionary in his own right. He accomplished a lot even in the face of great challenges. May his soul rest in peace”
