Makerere University Business School held their the Hospitality Day Event last night,among the nominees was Fashionista Ahumuza Brian in the Young Entrepreneurial Entertainer Category in the CEPA awards, luck was on his side as he emerged victorius after beating off competition from Singer Bobi Wine and comedian Ann Kansiime.
“Completely blown away. Just won my first entrepreneurial award at the CEPA Awards at MUBS. At the start of this journey 5 years ago,this is exactly how I envisioned it would be. I wanted to be a source of inspiration,and a role model to the young people. I have managed to grow my franchise from a back pack business to one of the most sought after brands in Uganda.
Having started out as a janitor and slowly growing into the person that I am today, the brand has grown along with me. Today, the Abryanz brand includes Abryanz Collection Stores, Abryanz Style &Fashion Awards(celebrated across the continent), Abryanz Charity Foundation and Abryanz Events Management. I would like to also congratulate my fellow nominees Bobiwine & Kansiime. Thank you for setting the pace for the youngsters of this nation.” An excited Abryanz Posted.
