The first ‘Kampala Rolex Season1’ festival was a success as masses were seen making their way to the Uganda Museum as early as 9am, with 10k as entrance families and white tourists enjoyed the glamorous event, which was hosted my NTV’s Douglas Lwanga.
By 11am, the venue was half full as performances from Milege band, Undercover Brothers music band, Eddy Wizy ‘dancer’ and thrilling deejay mixes from DJ Thomas and veteran female DJ Rachel kept the crowd on their feet. Singers Geosteady, Gifted Music Group singers, Rey Heavens and Shena Skies were among the curtain raisers before singer ‘Maro’ stepped on stage as the day’s main performer.
KFM’s Abdu Wasike, NBS TV’s Argatha Loswash, Irish Kanyerezi from Capital FM, Model and former BBA star Stella ‘ellah’ Nantubwe, Kabs Haloha and Denzel from Urban TV, singer Roden Y, were among the celebrities that graced the event.
The State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Godfrey Ssuubi Kiwanda and Maria Mutagamba graced the event as the chief guests before entertaining the crows as they danced to Navio’s ‘Njogereza.
