Unlike the ‘Tubonga nawe’ ghosts that lost their way and headed to Theartre la Bonita during Kalifah Aganaga’s concert launch, last night they must have been so tired as Maro and Iryn Namubiru’s ‘Live Experience’ show was well attended by fans at Laftaz lounge.
By 6PM, revelers were seen making their way to Laftaz and by exactly 9PM, Maro stepped on stage in company of fusion/black band as he performed all his songs from ‘Genda E’wamwe’ to his latest song ‘Kawundha’. By around 10.20pm, songstress Iryn Namubiru came on the stage as she took her fans through her music journey on live band from her first single to the latest, fans had to plead with her to play her hit song ‘Nkuweeki’ twice. To show some support, Swangz Avenue’s Iryn Ntale took on the mic and performed her breakthrough song ‘Gyobela’ with Iryn Namubiru backing before eventually inviting Maro back as they performed their latest hit song ‘Addicted’ to crown the night.
Maro and Iryn Namubiru will later on perform tonight in Jinja at Laftaz lounge, Dam Waters for their Busoga fans as they mark the end of their ‘Live Experience’ music tour.
