Breaking news coming in indicates that Jules Shungu Wembadio Pene Kikumba commonly know as “Papa Wemba”, a Congolese rumba musician, one of Africa’s most popular musicians, has died. Initial reports indicate that the 66-year-old slumped while attending a popular music festival – Festival des Musiques Urbaines d’Anoumabo (FEMUA) – in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
