On Friday night, vocalist singer Chris Evans was blocked by thieves while on his way back from a show at Kiyindi-Lugazi, 1km from the show venue. On seeing the robbers ahead, the Linda singer suddenly parked his car, jumped out and took off to seek for safety from the nearby thicket where he spent the entire night feeding mosquitoes.
The robbers only took the money that the singer had left in the car However Evans wasn’t the only victim but also his fans who were coming from the show fell preys, they were nicely beaten and left ill accusing them of moving without money but fortunately police came to their rescue and fired some bullets in the air which scattered the thieves. Residents caught and burnt dead one of d thieves.
