From the Deejaying job, now to Comedy, everyday the industry gets on growing bigger and better. A few years, Comedy was also seen as a job for failures and unlearned people with little pay. Alex Muhangi was the first to launch a comedy night which went on successful and still is growing better. Sky Beach Freedom City Rooftop has also come out and is set to launch a new comedy show, titled ‘Comedy Garage’.
With many minting money after many nightspots in Kampala have added comedy to their weekly theme nights.
Sky Beach’s ‘Comedy Garage’ dubbed “The OBs and OGs Edition” , launches on Friday 2nd March, 2018.
According to management, the move to introduce comedy to those around Zzana, Makindye and city other suburbs, is to give more entertainment to its classy and corporate clients.
In this first edition on 2nd March, there will be performances by comedians including Madrat and Chiko, MC Mariach, The Talkers and Tamale Mirundi.
Swangz Avenue’s diva and “Malaika” hit maker, Vinka has also been lined up to perform at the show.
The night sponsored by Johhnie Walker, will have Entrance fee at Shs 20,000 only.
