South Africa’s DJ Black Coffee has been announced as the winner of 2016 BET Best International Act (Africa) award.
He beat off great competitors including Wizkid, AKA, Diamond Platnumz and Cassper Nyovest. Others in the category include Yemi Alade, Mzvee and Cote D’Ivoire’s Coupé Decalé star Serge Beynaud.
Drake is up for an impressive nine awards at this year’s BET Awards, with Beyoncé and Rihanna following behind with five nods each as the final ceremony holds at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, on Sunday June 26, 2016.
