Super FM’s boss, Peter Ssematimba made headlines last week when he was kicked from his Busiro South County MP seat by Court over lack of academic qualifications.

Mr Sekigozi, in a petition filed a few months, says Mr Sematimba only holds a certificate issued by the East African Examinations Council in 1978, which cannot be equated to an Advanced Level certificate, the minimum requirement for nomination in parliamentary elections.

Within days after the court’s ruling, the Super FM boss during an interview came out as quoted, “I have decided to contest the ruling to the court of appeal, yes am filing my appeal to the court of appeal and will also be informing the clerk of parliament of appeal so that i legally remain the Honorable MP Busiro South through out my court of appeal process. Let me assure you, am going to win my appeal case, In Jesus christ’s name”
