The Budo Fest celebrations are set to happen this weekend on Saturday at the Lugogo Cricket Oval as the Old Budonian students will be launching their book titled the She Budonians. The celebrations are usually held annually but for this years edition they will a bit more spiced than the usual. The event will kick start with an Annual General Assembly at 10am then proceed with wild and action packed celebrations at 2pm.
The book will commemorate the 80 year co-educational conception at the Budo schools. The book is a testimonial piece comprising of compelling and inspirational stories as told by old students that went to both Budo Junior School Kabinja and King’s College Budo.
The K.C.C.A.E.D Jennifer Musisi also had a word on her experience at studying from Budo schools. “Budo laid a firm foundation for what I am today as a wife, investor,mother and public servant”,she said before adding that,
“at Budo they had the atmosphere and opportunity to excel in many areas such as being polite, cultured, courteous and sociable.
