According to the UHMG MD, Joyce Tamale, the camp was organized as a part of series of events commemorating UHMG’s 10th anniversary of delievring the Good life to all Ugandans. “Kisenyi is one of the densely populated slum areas with a lot of commercial activity and a weak health structure. This cause serious health challenges like HIV infection, High Malaria cases and sanitation problems”, Ms Tamale disclosed.

Katikiiro Peter Mayiiga in his remarks advised youths to always go for HIV tests, to do STI testing even in early stages of chlamydia and always try to keep safe.“Couples should always sit down together and come up with a good family planning policy. People should also be provided with employment opportunities to reduce the high rates of child birth. UHMG should also sensitize the public to wash their hands every time they get near clean water so as to reduce some health related illness”, the Buganda Prime Minister added on

Uganda Health Marketing Group (UHMG) in conjunction with KCCA, ProFam, TASO, USaid, UNFPA, Skin Guard teamed up to provide the free health services to the people in Kisenyi.
