This came about after the flopped Afrikafest at Muzri venue where many Ugandan Artistes were lined up to perform at the fest but to their dismay, the turn up was poor and the show completely flopped on top of that, the advertised artistes like Eddy Kenzo never turned.

This threw Ugandans in the UK to a huge disappointment that most of them blamed the promoters of the shows that the venue was too big for the Artists line up, others said the major problem was that they have organised many shows in a short period of time that they do not want Ugandans Nkuba Kyeyo to save. To elaborate the whole frustration thing, one Ugandan in the UK was forced to write an open letter to the promoters saying ”Open letter to UK Promoters
Ugandan shows are becoming so boring for the audience thus the attendance for last night show ,just imagine every week rather every month there is always a show in UK or a pageant
What sort of life is that ? How much have we saved for a particular show every week?
Are you guys a joker? Then this business of putting artists on a poster well knowing they won’t turn up ,don’t you think it’s denting their brand? Kenzo never turned up yet people looked up 4 him !
Mukyusemu”

Let us hope promoters of UK shows you have heard it right, that people are tired of every week shows!
