US EMBASSY PARTNERS WITH BOBI WINE TO HELP THE YOUTH

The US Embassy in Kampala has partnered with singer, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine to help the youth in Uganda, who take up over 75% of the country’s population.

The “Dembe” hit maker, who met with the U.S. Embassy Youth Working Group and other great Ugandan minds like, Ahmed of the Youth Development League, Eve of YALI, and lawyer/activist Andrew Karamaji on Friday revealed the the US Embassy  has promised to assist the youth in Uganda.

“We agreed that the biggest problem among Ugandan youth is a hopeless mindset, but we have more power than we think! So, let me play my part by reminding you that the future of this country is in our hands!“It is up to each of us to build the society we want, and to keep our leaders accountable. The U.S. Embassy promised to support us youth and said “you can hold our feet to the fire,” so let’s also hold them accountable for their part!” Bobi Wine posted on Facebook.
